Shopiva Kenya LTD Privacy Policy

Shopiva Kenya LTD operates the Shopiva shopping service. This policy explains the customer information we collect, why we use it, and how customers can request deletion.
Information we collect
Account details such as username and email; delivery details such as name, phone, county, town, address and optional delivery coordinates; order and payment records; wishlist, reviews, notifications and delivery-tracking information when you use those features.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, process orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support, verify payments, prevent fraud, maintain seller settlements and improve Shopiva.
Payments
Payment information is processed through the payment provider selected at checkout. Shopiva does not intentionally store card security codes. M-PESA/Daraja production processing will only be enabled after Safaricom production credentials and merchant configuration are verified.
Location
Delivery location is used only where needed for checkout and delivery tracking. Customers may use address details where precise location is not required.
Sharing
We share only information necessary to operate the service with relevant sellers, delivery personnel, hosting/storage providers and payment providers. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Customers can request account deletion at any time. App-account data is deleted, while limited transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance; such records are anonymized where practical.
Security
Shopiva uses HTTPS in production, secure cookies, server-side authorization and database integrity controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we continuously monitor and harden the platform.
